Due to expected inclement weather this coming weekend we are moving the location of the 1st assessment on Sunday, January 14, 2024, to the Sport Lab Ca indoor facility located at 9752 Kent St – Bldg 200, Elk Grove, Ca. 95624. With the assessments now being indoors, it is necessary to change the schedule to accommodate all of the age groups. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this adjustment may cause and appreciate your flexibility in assisting us to make this happen. Please take a careful look at the new schedule below and the instructions.

Instructions:

  • Sport Lab is located behind Soccer World
  • Players should arrive at the check in table by the front door at least 15 minutes prior to their assessment time below and check in with a board member.
  • Players shall bring only a glove, bat, and helmet. No other equipment or bags will be allowed inside. We will have a limited number of bats and helmets for those who do not have one.
  • Players shall wear either tennis shoes or turf shoes only. No cleats allowed.
  • Parents will not be allowed inside of the facility as there is simply not enough room. Parents should wait outside the facility for their players to finish their assessment. Each player’s assessment is expected to take approximately 3 minutes.
  • Players should be warmed up and ready to assess as there is no room to warm up prior.
  • COACHES need to be at the assessments at least 15 minutes prior to their age groups assessments. Coaches also need to bring a chair as seating and space is limited.
  • COACH and ASSISTANT COACH players must assess at one of the assessments.

Below is the new schedule for the indoor assessment on Sunday, January 14. 2024. Remember, a player shall assess for their player age not necessarily their current age. A players player’s age is determined by the age they will be as of April 30, 2024 (example a current 7 year old who turns 8 in March will assess an 8 year old). Please check the time below for your players’ age and first letter of their last name.

  • 9 yr olds:
    • A-L, 12 pm
    • M-Z, 12:30 pm
  • 10 yr olds:
    • A-L, 1:15 pm
    • M-Z, 1:45 pm
  • 11 yr olds:
    • A-L, 2:30 pm
    • M-Z, 3:00 pm
  • 12 yr olds:
    • A-L, 3:45 pm
    • M-Z, 4:15 pm
  • 8 yr olds:
    • A-L, 5:00 pm
    • M-Z, 5:30 pm
  • 7 yr olds: 6:15 pm (All 7 year olds registered to try out for Double A)

The Prep Division (13-14 year olds) has been cancelled due to lack of interest.
