ALL Rookie and Single A families will be contacted by their coach by Saturday, February 25th.
EGYB will do it's best to ensure every child that wants to play, get placed on a team. In order to determine placement, all players signing up must do so via the waitlist. A member of the EGYB league will contact you after determination is made on openings within a specific age group.

Coach and Parent Pitching Clinic When: Sunday February 26, 2012 Time: 1:00- 3:00pm Where: Rau Park (8795 Elk Grove Florin Rd) Cost: FREE The clinic is for parents and coaches looking to improve their pitching instruction knowledge. Former Major Leaguer Jason Jimenez will cover the basics of throwing, pitching mechanics, effective drills and more. Topics covered will assist aspiring pitchers of all ages. Jason played in the Major Leagues with the Tampa Bay Rays and Detroit Tigers. He played 9 years of professional baseball. He is the Varsity Pitching Coach at Elk Grove High School and an associate scout with the Tampa Bay Rays. He holds certifications with the National Federation of High School Sports (NFHS) and Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken. |

| EGYB to host the Cal Ripken 11/70 Regional in 2012 |  |
|
Elk Grove Youth Baseball has been selected to host the Pacific Southwest 11/70 Regional tournament for 2012. Teams from Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Southern Cal, Central Cal and Northern Cal will participate in this tournament. The tournament will be played in late July. |

Spring 2012 - Spring 2012
Register today for the 2012 Spring baseball season. Click Enroll below.
Age Groups are determined by the players age as of 4/30/12. Note: 7 year olds may petition to the Player Agent to try out for the "AA" Division (if drafted to a AA team, there will be an additional $25.00 fee)
NEW PLAYERS ONLY: Please bring a copy of your birth certificate to one of the scheduled try-out dates. ALL new Rookie or A division player, must bring a copy of the birth certificate to Rau Park on 1/14 or 1/21.
Waitlist will start on 1/23/12 for competitive players only. There are no guarantees. Non-Competitive players will be placed on teams through 3/1/12. |  |
